Dear au pair, We, an open-minded family with two wonderful children and a dog, are looking for an au-pair starting from Summer 2012, who can stay with us for at least a year, preferable even longer. Our goal is to find a very caring au pair for our two children, and at the same time we are looking forward to a new family member during a year. Last year we had an Au Pair from Poland and the year before that one from Sweden, and all of us had a real good time. We invite you to be our next Au Pair, and to be part of our family. We live in Kirchdorf, which is a beautiful small village in the German speaking part of Switzerland. Nature around is stunning.. At all seasons of the year you will find the very best possibilities for outdoor activities, and you find as well a great indoor /outdoor swimming pool just 10 minutes away from our house. Kirchdorf is located close to Baden (around 10 minutes with the bus) , and here you find possibilities for good languages courses, cinemas, restaurants and shopping. From Baden it takes you only 15 minutes with the train to Zürich, with its world class variety of cultural life. You will have your own private room, with own entrance to the garden. In your room, you will find a bed, a bed sofa (in case you get visitors), TV, WLAN and you will share the bathroom with the kids. We are an active, open minded Swedish family living in Switzerland since 1999.
Some of your tasks will be - bring and/or pick up our daughter from school (5 days/week) - from time to time bring and/or pickup our son from kindergarten/day nursery - take care of the kids until we get home from work - take care of our lovely playful dog - support us in the household (cleaning, washing…) - cook lunch for our daughter (5 days/week) - from time to time prepare the dinner - from time to time babysitting in evenings/weekends (approx.. 2-3 times/month) The au pair we are looking for should: - be emotionally stable, open-minded, fun-loving character at the same not losing attention for detail - be reliable, independent, organized and trustworthy character but with room for creativity and spontaneous adaption to your daily schedule - be part of our enlarged family, join us on short and longer family trips - be able to set limits – even against a strong mind of a 6-year girl (!) - be able to handle the kids without supervision - enjoy a couple of hours outdoors with the kids – no matter of the weather condition - be able to speak & understand German and/or Swedish - be able to take care of our dog and walk with her (and if you want, even participate in training with her) - preferable be non-smoking - be able to drive and operate a car with kids in the back. We believe we can offer you an inspiring, active and fun-loving atmosphere!
