Hello, we’re a loving, outdoorsy family, value the simple things in life - home cooked food and time with family & friends. I’m Cathryn, Mum to our son (14 months) old and Max (the gorgeous golden retriever!) and my husband and I are seeking childcare from October) I work compressed hours from home and my husband is moving away for work for a short time before we plan to join him. We have a lovely 4 bed home with a garden, in a lovely village, with a pub and surrounded by fields. Your room would be an en-suite bedroom with a lovely view over the fields. We live in a small village but there is a high street with all the essentials in nearby Corsham (20 min walk or a regular bus) and there are beautiful walks, quirky cafes and farm shops. We are also 20-30 minutes from the city of Bath by bus or car, Bristol is 45 minutes by car and there is a direct train into London (1hr 50) from Chippenham (15mins away). Our routine is usually dog walk, breakfast and get ready for the day at work or nursery/ childcare. Mum works Mon-Thu (long days Mon & Tue) and takes Friday off to spend with her boys. With Dad being way, we’re really hoping someone can help mum out and feel part of our family!
- Getting up early with the little one for a few hours in the morning while mum gets some rest (he’s still not a great sleeper) - this won’t be every day, a few times per week. - Helping get ready for nursery / breakfast etc - Pick up / drop offs from nursery - 1-2 days per week childcare (1 minimum, 2 can be negotiated if suits everyone) - Light household duties such as laundry, keeping areas tidy (we have a cleaner every 2 weeks so it’s a case of maintaining), some meal preparation and grocery shopping would be ideal. - Some babysitting - Occasional dog walk! Hours will be around 30-35 per week but can negotiate around what your needs are too. Schedule likely to look something like the below: - Monday - 0530-0830 & 1700-1930, collection from nursery, bath and bed. Daytime free. - Tuesday - 1700-1930 (as above). Daytime free. - Wednesday - 0530-0730 playtime / get ready for nursery. Daytime free. - Thursday - As above morning and full day with little one - Friday 2-3 hours, flexible on time based on your availability - Saturday - perhaps another early rise - Sunday 0845-1045 Household task can be done around your schedule.
