We are an open-minded and easy-going family with a beautiful two-year-old son, Henry. Henry is growing up bilingual, we speak German and English to him. We are looking for an au pair to join our family from August. We are a teacher couple and work at an international school. We have had au pairs before who are happy to provide references.
The hours will be full time until January, when Henry starts preschool. We are looking for someone to care for him while we are at work. This includes preparing snack and lunch, playing with him outside, taking him to the library or playgroups and engaging him in calm activities at home such as doing arts and crafts, reading books, doing puzzles and singing songs. We are raising Henry to be independent and would like the au pair to encourage him to get dressed by himself, tidy up after playing etc. We do not expect housework.
