We are a non denominational christian family that is looking for an au pair that can fit in with our flexible schedule lifestyle. We have outside help from the grandparents watching the kids, but need someone in the household to help with getting the kids to where they need to be and keep the household running smoothly. I need a mature and responsible person who is comfortable being in charge when we are not home. I would like someone with a good bit of child watching experience as I don't have time to train someone or feel like I've just added another child. You will have a mostly private basement suite with your own large bedroom furnished with a king size bed, dresser and nightstands, full bathroom with bathtub with shower option, a living/tv room and small kitchenette. We have a pool so you will have to know how to swim and be comfortable watching children swim (all but the 2 year old are great swimmers). We are located in the suburbs about 25 miles from downtown Atlanta. Lots to do around us, less than 5 minutes from the biggest mall in the state (Maybe in the whole south) and 20 minutes from lake lanier islands, its a southern culture mecca: american football, pro soccer, lush tree filled land, hot wings and fried everything! If you're into traveling we are roughly 5 hours from savannah, GA, 8 hours by car to Disney World and lots of great georgia and Florida beaches. Atlanta has the busiest airport in the USA that is a hub for all major airlines (and some smaller ones) that offer cheap flights all around the USA. We will provide you with a car, but there is also uber or lyft everywhere and mass transit into the city from the mall area. Working hours including chores won't exceed 40 hours/week. 2 days off per week plus any vacation time we take you are free or welcome to join us, whichever you prefer.
Job would include days off that are not always on the weekend as my husband normally has a day or two off during the week and I have weekends off normally. Duties would include chores like vacuuming, dishes, washing and folding clothes and making easy meals. Taking the kids to school, watching them and taking them to summer camps during off months. Basically being my right hand lady for all I normally do so I can run my business and my husband can work his 60 hour average a week job. Their grandmother lives less than 2 miles away and will also take them and continue to watch them (just less often) because she loves it and is retired.
