You will obviously be living in an Australian environment in the comfort of a French/English Home. + Extensive Experience driving a MANUAL CAR. + Love of kids – We need someone who enjoys spending quality time with the kids and be an active member of the family. This doesn’t mean that you have to spend every minutes with us but we would love you to want to join in with family life and become a real family member even though it is only for a short time in our lives!
------------------------------------ YOUR ‘ON- DUTY’ TASKS ------------------------------------ + Assisting with preparing meals (snacks, lunches and dinners). + Assisting with getting the kids ready for school (packing up snacks and lunches). + School pickups and drop offs. + Going to the different activities (swimming, music, sports, story times). + Helping with bedtime routine when one of the parents is away (bathing, reading books). + Helping with tidying up kitchen and living areas. + Engaging the kids in creative activities. + Running the occasional errands. + Just having fun with them and being an awesome friend to them! -------------------------------------- YOUR ‘OFF- DUTY’ TASKS ------------------------------------- + Cleaning your room. + Assisting with dinner preparation (setting up the table, emptying the dishwasher). + Generally just chipping as a valued family member ;-) ------------------------------------------ EXAMPLES OF ACTIVITIES WITH THE KIDS ------------------------------------------ + Playing at the playground/beach, garden or playhouse almost every day. We prefer outdoor times to screen times! We want them to appreciate nature and have free play! + Riding bikes or scooters. + Reading books. + Singing and dancing. + Drawing, doing crafts. + Jumping on the trampoline. + Role plays. + Legos/Duplos. + Chasing games. + Hide and seek. + Meditation. + Cooking and Baking. --------------------------------------------- YOUR WEEKENDS/TIME OFFS --------------------------------------------- As you wish! You are more than welcome to join for day/weekend trips with our family. Also we can make arrangements for you to explore the region/Australia or meet with other AuPairs, if you wish to be more independent. From time to time, we may ask for assistance on weekends and nights, but this will be discussed in advance and compensated for.
