Hi Dear au-pair in future:) we are a joyful family with our two kids happy and grateful all the time. We love to share, talk and play together. We are a family of four living in a modest flat in Karsiyaka, very near to the seaside which we usually take walks to the bay at weekends. We are living very close to our grandparents and they are assisting our daily life very much. We also have a very helpful caregiver of our little son at home during the working days. We live in Izmir, which is a quite big city by the Egean coast. We work for 5 days from 8 am to 18:00, at office (in another city- Manisa which is only 40 min by car). I'm an industrial product designer and my husband is software engineer at the same electronic company. At spring weekends, we love to walk by the sea at weekend, and spend sometime at the park winter time; my daughter and husband usually go to see new movies at weekends while I spend time with little boy:) in summer time most weekends we drive to our village house with vineyard where my family-in-law live, we love to spend time there at the country side. Dear candidates; we had a lot experiences and good memories with our previous aupairs up to now and here we try to draw general frame of what we generally expect from our aupair below; 1) teaching English as second language by continuously talking and playing with kids at home as much has possible to kids (esp. my daughter). 2) at the weekday mornings leaving& taking my daughter to/from school which is 5 min walk to our house (starting in mid September), taking her to/from gymnastics class (which is 7min to home) twice a week after school, 3)be one of our family member as older sister taking care of our kids while caregiver is doing the houseworks or when she is gone before we come home. 4)talking English (naturally:) to keep our foreign language alive:) while living with us as a big sister and experiencing Turkish & mediterennean style of living:)
