Dear future Aupair We are a young family living in Brig ,Switzerland. We have a small baby boy - was born in March 2018. He is doing great and is exited to meet new people. Mihaela, the mother, comes from Romania and is a gynecologist and Simon, the father, comes from Switzerland and is a pediatrician. We are living in a duplex with beautiful views, 5 min away from the center of the city ( you will have your own room and bathroom). Brig is the most important town in our area, 2 hours from Milano by train. Our region offers a lot of cultural festivals (zermatt-unplugged) and outstanding skiing possibilities all the year (zermatt). Like every small town Brig offers the possibility to go to cinemas, restaurants and do a little shopping .
As our Aupair you will participate in the baby’s routine (feeding, changing, walking, playing, etc). He will also need someone to bring and pick him up from the Kindergarten in the days when he will be attending it. You will also participate in our family’s routine ( like cleaning the table after you/we eat, helping when needed with small chores - like in your own house, making up the baby’s room). For cleaning and ironing we have someone who helps us. Your schedule will consist of 30 hours of work/ week - more details we can discuss and decide together. We expect from your side a little flexibility and we are glad to give you the same. In your spare time you are welcome to enjoy the surroundings and more and also to take part of our family excursions etc. You will have the possibility to attend a language course (Migrosklubschule) when interested. We are happy to hear from you and if you are interested we will arrange a “meeting trip for you so you can know us better.
