Hello We are looking for a happy, kind, friendly and responsible Au Pair to come and join our family in East Finchley, North London. We have three lovely children. Oliver is 15 yrs old, Alex 13 and Eve 8. Our boys are friendly and like playing in the garden (football, table tennis and on the trampoline) as well as card games and on the computer! Our daughter Eve is very friendly and loves drawing and making things as well as singing and playing games. We live in a lovely part of East Finchley, our house has a big garden with a full size trampoline and climbing frame, slides and swings; minutes from the shops, cafes & restaurants, parks, cinemas, bowling alley, swimming pool and library plus a 12 minute walk from the tube. East Finchley is around 20 minutes on the tube (Northern Line) to central London. We are also just a short walk from Muswell Hill. We are close to three large parks. Driving is not required as everything is local. The house is in a very safe area. We would like you to: - Be caring, honest, reliable, hardworking, cheerful and easy going - Have good common sense & a level of independence - Have previous au pair/childcare experience - Speak good basic English - Have excellent and checkable references - Be a non-smoker - Have basic cooking skills - Be energetic and enjoy the outdoors
We would like you to work on average 30 hours per week (plus up to 3 nights of babysitting per week) between Monday and Friday - helping in the morning with breakfast and taking to school, then helping mid-afternoon to early evening. You will be free most of the morning until mid-afternoon, at night and at the weekend. We would also like you to babysit on up to two nights midweek plus one night at the weekend. I work 2 days per week. We are looking for someone to start late August or early September and to stay for around a year. The salary is £100 per week. You will have your own room with a TV, high speed wireless broadband and a DVD player. This includes 3 weeks paid holiday a year.
