We are looking for an au-pair to look after our two children, Michalis, 8 years old and Carmen 6. They both go to school and enjoy sports, art, dance, singing and all fun activities. We live in London in a house with garden, in zone 2. Our previous au-pair stayed for three years instead of one. That gives you a clue for the care we treat our people with!
We are easy going, relaxed and we enjoy spending time with our friends in our house or going out. As our friends and previous au-pair say we are the type of parents who play a lot with our kids. We are an active family enjoying going out with our children in parks, theatre, museums, cinema and music. Our son loves reading books, playing guitar and playing with his friends whereas our daughter would love singing all day and playing with her dolls and friends. Both my husband and I work full time which makes our daily afternoon time with our kids even more precious. In general we spend time together as a family during the weekends. The person we are looking for should be mainly responsible to drop and pick up our kids from school, take them to their activities after school, do a bit of homework and cook 2-3 times per week. We are also looking for one night babysitting per week. We also consider our privacy as very important and we are extremely cautious of keeping our privacy intact and likewise the person/au-pair living with us. An independent and discreet person with your own interests and friends is the type of person we are looking for. Last but most important we are looking for someone to love our children and take care of them as if they were theirs. Studies as teacher or nursery teacher are preferred as well as experience working with children of their age.
