The best words to describe us are: Fun, informal, sporty and flexible. We have a little girl aged 4yrs and little boy aged 6yrs. We are looking for an Au Pair that speaks English and French if possible. We would like our children to learn conversational French. We are a fun, flexible informal, sporty family who enjoy looking for a kind hearted fun Au Pair to mix in with our family. We are looking for a 6-12 month placement (longer if it works out)
Our home is situated just outside of a lovely market town which has some lovely shops, cafes and sports facilities. We live on a large gated private estate and are lucky enough to have access to vast grounds, runs, a park, a gym and spa hotel with an amazing restaurant and bar. We both work from home. Ian is an IT consultant and I won a handbag design business that is based in our home. Our home is large and a lot of fun and as a design company we commissioned our own wallpaper, coverings and furniture for much of our home along with many pieces from fellow artisans, so it is a bright, colourful and eclectic place to live and work. There is always something exciting going on here, planning for London Fashion Week or photoshoots so it is a great place to work if you are interested in fashion. You will have your own entire floor of our home to live in which is very private and accessed by your own staircase. It includes a large double bedroom, private bathroom and your own living room with a TV, kettle etc. The rest of the house is shared with the family and you are most welcome to join us if you prefer. Only light housework will be required- we are not looking for a cleaner, but we do ask that the children’s areas are kept clean and tidy. We are a very active family enjoying tennis (we have our own courts) and swimming (we have our own pool) Our biggest love is snowboarding and skiing, sports we enjoyed whilst living and working in Switzerland 12 years. You will be required to do school dropoff/pickup daily, help with homework, mealtimes, play and have fun" The children attend lots of sports clubs so you will accompany them each week and during holidays. We need you to work 30 hours a week, be a very confident driver and hopefully speak a little French as ell as English.
