We are a family of 3 who are looking to find a good fit for our lives. Our latest au-pair stayed with us for 2 years and now we are looking for a replacement. We had our first au-pair when my 13 year old was born so we have experience in hosting someone in our home and treating them as part of the family. We are looking for a girl who is responsible and trustworthy. We live in a town called Grantham in Lincolnshire. This is where Margaret Thatcher (The Iron Lady) was born. We are quite close to bigger cities. London is 1 hour, Nottingham is 30 minutes, Peterborough is about 25 minutes on the train. Lincoln is about 1 hour too because the rail link isn't as good. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from our house to the town centre where all the shops are. Our home is nice and comfortable. It's a 3 storey townhouse, with me and our au-pair on the middle floor. The children's bedrooms are on the top floor with a small bathroom there.
Getting the children up for school, supervising in the morning and getting the younger one to school on the bus. Then general house work. Picking younger one up from school in the afternoon, then after getting home by bus preparing a light meal for the children (sandwich, pasta...etc.), helping the younger one with homework, then later with his bed time.
