We are a family of 5 and live in a village called Maurecourt which is 30 km north west of Paris. It is a typical French village with few shops, a school, a church....
We expect our au pair to spend quality time with our children teaching them English. She would also walk or drive the kids back and forth to school (10min) occasionally and take them to their afterschool activities. We expect some light tidying up in the house and some meal preparation as our focus is clearly for her to spend most of her time playing and speaking English with the kids. We have a lot of supporting materials (book and games) to that effect. We would expect baby sitting in the evening on some weekends only. Our au pair will have most of her weekend free so she can enjoy all that Paris and France has to offer although we would be more than happy to share our weekend activities with her as well.
