We are Canadian/Irish/British, living in London for 17 years and we have two boys, 10 and 6. Hugo is 10 years old and likes Minecraft, Lego, cycling and supercars. He is learning to play the guitar and goes to Cub Scouts once a week. Killian is 6 years old and likes boats, maps, bowling and Lego. He also goes to Beaver Scouts once a week. We do not have any pets, but we sometimes borrow a dog from down the street to take on a walk. Other things we do in our free time is going swimming, or to the cinema, playing tennis, or going on day trips to museums in central London or places like Brooklands, Chessington and Legoland. My husband is self employed, working in Post Production in various places around London, I work 3 days a week in the city on a news media database and need someone to look after the kids on the days I work. We are well traveled and enjoy the food and culture of different countries. I have also lived in Japan, and my husband has lived in Germany and the U.S..
During school terms we need you to: - 3-5 days a week, look after Hugo and Killian, help them get ready for school in the morning, and pick them up from the local school (I usually drop them off in the morning), helping with their homework, cooking and general housework. These 3 days currently are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, although there can be some flexibility with this and it may change occasionally. - Occasional babysitting, which we would arrange in advance and pay extra for. -As both kids are in school from 9-3 every day, this would leave you free during the day to take english classes locally. You would also usually be free on weekends. -During summer holidays and half terms, the kids would be with you all day on the days I work. There are many parks locally, and activities and days out can be arranged. We don't require you to have a driving license, because most things are easily accessible by foot, bicycle, bus or Tube. We live close to Morden station, but can also walk to Wimbledon town centre in 20 minutes.
