I am a single mother looking for a cheerful, nurturing, kind, honest live-in caregiver for my 7-month-old son. I'm looking for someone who would like to become part of our small, but loving and joyful family! Infant experience required, with knowledge of child development and educational activities. Please also be able and willing to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry. I live in a vibrant part of the city, walking distance to parks, museums and cultural activities. You will have your own private room and your own full bathroom in a large 2-level home, your bedroom is on a separate level from mine so it's very private. You will get free room and board, and a weekly stipend (structured as an Au pair job rather than hourly pay). You will have flexibility and fairness with work hours and off-hours, open communication with all things. My baby is cheerful, calm, sweet and he wakes up smiling and laughing!
Infant knowledge required, make fresh baby food in the blender, find creative activities to stimulate his growth and learning, hold him and be with him so he feels secure and loved, play and laugh with him. Basic cleanliness required, such as cleaning up after yourself and baby, keeping the kitchen counters and floor clean, required. Also you will be doing baby laundry and helping with meal planning and prep.
