Dear au pair, We are looking for an au pair to help look after our 2 girls, Erin aged 5 and Niamh aged 6. We also have 2 well behaved cocker spaniels which you will need to walk every day in the afternoon. Both the girls attend school 9am till 3pm in St Neots, about 6 miles away from where we live. We are a very active family and in order to fit in with us you will also need to be active. We have had many au pairs, most of them became our family friends and we still keep in touch, we understand how you feel when you first come in to the country and we will do all we can to support you. We live in a village called Offord Cluny, 18 miles from Cambridge and less then an hour from London. Nearest town is St Neots only few minutes away. St Neots is well catered for with many clubs, gym, swimming pool, tennis club etc. There is also fairly large au pair community so finding friends should be quite easy. The dogs are very friendly, they listen to command but you will need to be confident around dogs. We provide a car for your use, the bus links are limited from our village but very good transport links are available from St Neots to Cambridge or London.
We need help from 7.00am till 9am in the morning, the girls are then at school till 3pm. The dogs need walking every day for an hour, you will need to be someone that enjoys being out in the country. You would then pick the girls up at 3pm and spend time with them till around 5.30 - 6pm when we get home from work. The girls like to play games, draw, play in the garden, trampolining etc. We like to go out occasionally and also we would ask you help us with the dogs at the weekend sometimes when we go out for most of the day and cannot take them with us. We would provide plenty of notice as we understand with time you will make friends and will want to enjoy your weekends. Weekends and public holidays are of course yours and we also provide a car for your use. We would also ask for the house to be kept tidy, only light housework is expected and should not take longer then an hour a day. We look hearing from you, any questions please contact us.
