We are Hanna (28) and Jói (36). We are a family of 5. Jói is a fisherman and is away from home a lot Hanna is a university student but currently taking a maternity leave. We have 3 boys, Jónas Óli, 3 months old, Ari Mensalder, 7 years old and Heiðar Atli 10 years old. We live in a small village in Iceland called Þórshöfn. We have a big house with a beautiful view over the ocean. The house is on two floors. During the summer time our two older boys practice soccer/football two times a week and play a lot outside with their friends. The two older boys will be with their dad for at least 3 weeks during august so the au pair will not have to take care of them in the meantime.
We want our au pair to wake up in the mornings with the two older boys, feed them and prepare them for soccer/football practice when needed. We want our au pair to be able to play with the children, take them to the swimming pool and such. The au pair will most likely have to work from 9 to 14 everyday, taking care of children and housework and 19 to 20 to take care of dinner. This working time is just an idea and can be negotiated. When school starts, the au pair will have to prepare the older boys for school in the mornings, feed them and such. We don't expect there to be much work and some days there could be little to do. We are very flexible and willing to negotiate working hours and free time. We want an au pair who can be a part of our family and we would accommodate her with her own bedroom with a beautiful view over the ocean. We would like an au pair who could begin in july 2017 and stay at least through september and if things go well, even longer :)
