We are a family of four who live on the beautiful island of Jersey, a very pretty and quaint island just off the coast of France. The island has many beautiful beaches and lovely countryside and a cute little cobbled town called Saint Helier. It is a one hour boat ride to Saint Malo in France and a half an hour plane ride to London. The island is British but has many French influences which is why we have selected to look for a French au pair. However, it also have fantastic food and a very healthy life style and might also suit the Finnish or Swedish way of life. The island isn't big but it has a lot to offer. Please take a look at the Visit Jersey website to see if this is somewhere you think you could be happy spending some time. We live in a beautiful Georgian house with a large garden in the countryside but only a ten minute drive to the town. We have two wonderful little boys who are the funniest and best things in the world! We need some help looking after them whilst we work and would like to get an au pair together help us and live with our family for the next 9 months.
We are looking for an au pair who can help us around our work hours with nursery drop off and collection and to look after the boys some afternoons. We will also need light housework help and other errands e.g. buying new shoes for the boys and some shopping. Possibly a little bit of cooking too but both myself and my husband also love to cook so it wouldn't be every day. We have a lovely double bedroom with a brand new shower room for use by our au pair and we have a fabulous garden so that you can play with the boys outdoors. We also have a large common near the house to play and Jersey is packed with fun things for children, including a brilliant dinosaur park and jungle jims as well as offering lots of classes and having loads of parks, not to mention the amazing beaches! It's a wonderful place to bring up a young family and our au pair would have fun with the children here.
