The parents cooperate in raising the children and in family holidays, but live separately. The au pair’ childminding will be confined to two boys between 2 and 5. The elder of the two is already in school, which runs until the end of June. Both have in addition a crèche for two to three days a week. The crèche is equidistant between both parents. You will be working for the father.
Preferably the au pair will have work experience and be able to work independently, with good English. Previous child minding experience would be beneficial. Someone who likes sport and the outdoors will fit in well. The last au pair was here from August to date. Now there is an opening either for the summer, from end May to some time end July or August, or from now until Christmas or into the new year. Most au pairs stay at least six months. However schools restart in September so we can take on an au pair for the summer, and then from September, separately, or one who can stay through until, e.g. Christmas, Easter, or the following summer.
