We are looking for a kind, loving, flexible ITALIAN experienced live-in au pair to join our happy and relaxed family home, to help look after our sons aged 3 and 5. I am half Italian and speak to the children in Italian and English, and my husband is English. It is important to us that our au pair speaks only Italian to the children so that they continue to understand Italian (our previous au pairs have been Italian). I am studying part-time so although I am quite busy during the day, I am around and very much involved with the children. We are thinking of getting a puppy so our au pair should be someone who likes dogs! We live in a beautiful large house within 10 minutes walk from vibrant Portobello Road, near Notting Hill Gate. The house is very comfortable and the room where our au pair sleeps is a spacious double room with an ensuite bathroom and a bath. The area we live is very vibrant, there is a park nearby and good transport links.
We are looking for someone who is responsible, and calm, with a genuine love of children and interest in their development, who has some previous experience of looking after young children (and can provide references). Working hours: - approx 30 hours per week Monday - Saturday -x2 evening babysitting per week Duties include: - helping to get the children ready for school in the morning and on certain days taking them to school - looking after them after school: picking them up from school/arranging playdates with other children/taking them to the park/playing with them - helping with cooking (simple meals) for the children - helping with general light housework, such as laundry and light cleaning - helping with the dog (walks in the park)
