Introduzione personale
Hi! My name is Sienna, I’m 18 years old, and I’m at a stage in my life where I feel genuinely excited and ready to see the world, gain independence, and experience a new culture, all while doing something that truly means a lot to me — working with children and becoming part of a family’s everyday life.
I come from a very family-oriented background, and caring for children has always been a natural part of who I am. I have two younger siblings aged eight and one, so I’m very familiar with children at different developmental stages — from supporting routines and schoolwork to providing patience, reassurance, and lots of energy for play. Growing up around younger children has taught me responsibility, empathy, and the importance of consistency, warmth, and trust.
Alongside my personal experience, I have worked in a nursery and have studied Health and Social Care at college, where I gained knowledge in child development, general health, safeguarding, and emotional wellbeing. This has helped me understand how important it is to create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children feel confident, supported, and encouraged to grow.
I feel very connected to my own childhood, which I believe helps me relate naturally to children and keep them engaged and happy. I’m creative, patient, and playful, and I enjoy planning activities such as arts and crafts, imaginative play, reading stories, singing, outdoor activities, and helping with homework or daily routines. At the same time, I value structure and enjoy encouraging good manners, independence, and positive behaviour in a calm and supportive way.
I’m also a very tidy, organised, and respectful person, and I take pride in maintaining a clean and well-run environment. Helping around the house, keeping children’s areas neat, and supporting the household routine would never be a problem for me. I understand how important trust is when welcoming someone into your home, and I would always treat your space and family with care and respect. People often describe me as reliable, warm, and easy to trust.
In my free time, I enjoy fashion, drawing, singing, and acting, and I love staying active and social. I’m responsible but also fun, and I always aim to be a positive role model — someone children feel comfortable with and parents feel confident relying on.
I would love the opportunity to become part of a family where I can truly contribute, build strong bonds, and create a meaningful cultural exchange. I take the au pair role seriously and would approach it with kindness, dedication, and enthusiasm, while also being grateful for the chance to learn, grow, and share experiences together.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile. I would love to hear from you.
Warmly,
Sienna
