Introduzione personale
Hello! My name is Micol, I’m from Italy and I’m currently completing my Master’s degree in Architecture.
I’m a positive, responsible and creative person who loves spending time with children and discovering new cultures. I’ve previously worked in a nursery school in England, gaining experience supporting young kids in a safe, playful and caring environment. I enjoy drawing, painting, crafting, and creating small activities—skills that I often use when engaging with children.
I recently spent a study period in Finland (Erasmus), and I’ve also travelled to China, Spain, Greece and England. These experiences helped me become independent, adaptable, and very open to different cultures, traditions, and ways of living. I also worked for the Venice Biennale in an archival internship, where I developed strong organization skills and attention to detail.
I’m vegan, but this has never been a problem in shared living situations, and I’m very respectful of each family’s lifestyle and routines. If the family has pets (such as dogs, cats, rabbits, or hamsters), I’m happy to take care of them as well—I love animals and I’m used to being around them.
Being dyslexic myself, I’m comfortable and patient when working with children with learning differences or other special educational needs.
I speak Italian, English (B2), basic Spanish and basic Finnish, and I also know some basic Korean learned as an autodidact.
I would love to support your family with childcare and light household tasks, while sharing my culture and learning from yours. I look forward to meeting a warm host family and starting this new adventure together!
