My name is Rashna, I’m a 23-year-old South African currently studying towards my Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management. I’m thrilled at the opportunity to become part of your family and to support you in caring for your children through a meaningful cultural exchange experience Over the past few years, I’ve gained extensive experience as an au pair and babysitter, working with children of various ages both in the United States and the Netherlands. From daily routines like preparing healthy meals, organizing playdates, helping with hygiene routines, and encouraging intellectual development through arts and crafts or reading — I’ve found great joy in being a nurturing and responsible presence in the lives of the children I care for. My background also includes work in hospitality and office administration, which have helped me become detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities — all skills that naturally extend to being a reliable au pair. I consider myself friendly, adaptable, and calm under pressure, with a strong sense of responsibility and respect for family routines and cultural values.
