Introduzione personale
Dear Host Family,
I hope you are doing well and in good health. My name is Sharon Amondi, and I am from Kenya. I am very interested in becoming your au pair or nanny. I understand that different countries have specific eligibility requirements, but I am open to opportunities in eligible locations.
I have extensive childcare experience, having worked as a nanny both in Kenya and abroad. I spent two years in Saudi Arabia caring for children and assisting with household tasks. During my time there, I developed a strong bond with my host family, and they treated me like one of their own. When my contract was about to end, I considered extending it, but due to a family emergency, I had to return home. My host family was very understanding, and we remain on good terms to this day.
I love working with children, engaging them in fun and educational activities, and ensuring they feel safe and happy. Even in my community, children enjoy spending time with me, and I take pride in making them feel loved and cared for. Parents trust me with their children because they know I am responsible, reliable, and nurturing.
Aside from childcare, I enjoy cooking, singing, dancing, and spending time in nature. I believe these skills can bring joy to your family. Additionally, I am eager to learn about your culture and language while sharing a bit of my own. Being an au pair is a dream for me because it allows me to combine my love for children with cultural exchange.
I understand that hiring a non-EU au pair may involve additional steps, but I want to assure you that I have researched the visa process and am fully prepared to handle the paperwork. I am also willing to cover my own visa and travel expenses to make the process as smooth as possible for you. I can guide you through any necessary documents, such as the au pair contract, to ensure everything is done correctly.
I have never had any legal issues, and I possess all the necessary documents, including a police clearance certificate, passport, yellow fever card, and any other required paperwork. Additionally, I have experience caring for elderly individuals. While in Saudi Arabia, I assisted my employer’s elderly mother, who had diabetes, by preparing her meals and ensuring her comfort.
I believe that communication, mutual respect, and trust are key in any work environment. I am always open to learning, adapting, and improving to provide the best care possible. If a host family appreciates my work and wishes for me to stay longer, I am open to discussing an extension through the proper process.
I would love the opportunity to discuss how I can be a great fit for your family. Please let me know when we could schedule a video call at your convenience. Thank you for considering my application—I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully becoming part of your family.
Best regards,
Sharon
