Introduzione personale

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kushum Luitel, a 21 years old female Nepali student. I live in the well-known city Pokhara of Nepal which is filled with natural beauty and greenery. I would describe myself as a reliable, cheerful, friendly, positive, caring, flexible, and open-minded woman keenly interested in getting to know different countries and people. I love being outdoors with my friends, visiting places, going for walks, and also playing outdoor games. I have a particular interest in reading and writing. Moreover, music has been an important part of my life. As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 2 years. I am a fun-loving, warm, and caring personality—I am confident that I can provide excellent childcare to your family while simultaneously gaining a keen understanding of language, culture, and day-to-day life. I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my child-care experience; to learn more about your family; your interests and to know more about what you expect from the au pair arrangement. As for child care experience, I have been looking after children in both formal and informal contexts. I helped my single mother look after my younger sisters since birth. My mother remained busy in her farm activities and elder sister lived in next city for study purpose. So, I was the one who raised them as their parents. They used to spend a lot of time with our neighbor's three children Sampada, Jessica, and Sarad, and hence from time to time I found myself in their ever animated company. At the moment, I attend morning classes of my bachelor's degree and go babysitting during the afternoon. I have been working there for one year. I take care of the baby girls aged 9 months and 7 years at present. Their parents are bankers who remain busy. So I take complete care of them which includes cooking for them, feeding, dressing, helping with the school work of elder girls, playing with them, and narrating stories in their parents' absence. From preparing meals and changing diapers to performing household cleaning tasks and accompanying children to various activities and events, I am enthusiastic and supportive in every aspect of caring for children. Furthermore, I am responsible and reliable, with a proven commitment to providing high-quality physical and emotional care for children while encouraging their social and educational development. Over 5 years experience in supervising and caring for children aged between 4 and 14 years, successfully, scheduled and managed multiple activities. Prepared healthy meals and snacks for the children, assisting with homework and projects organized and facilitated creative activities and games for the children, supervised bathing and dressing of children. During the evening hours, I tutor my own group of 10 children (aged 4-14 years). I help them with their school works and also make them participate in creative works like drawing, painting, playing indoor and outdoor games, dancing, and singing as well. I find it enjoyable spending time with children and try to see the world through their eyes. They represent all the innocence which we lost growing up. In 3 years' time, I have a plan of pursuing a master's degree. Meanwhile, I would like to get on a journey to find myself and I believe two or more years far away from home will let me grow more as a person. Furthermore, I would like to visit new places and learn new languages and cultures. Meeting new people from different cultural backgrounds and getting new experiences from every being is something I have been craving for. Most importantly, a chance of spending almost two years taking care of children would be awesome.
