I am a single mum looking for help with the daily care and routine of caring for my 3 boys, twin 7 year olds and a 4 year old. We live on 2 and a half acres in a large ranch style house with most conveniences only 3Klm away (an easy flat bike ride or walk) in our little country town. We are 20 minutes drive from a large town located on a calm bay of water. Popular surf beaches are a 40min drive and Melbourne city an hour on the train. I am a stay at home mum but am kept very busy with the daily chores of caring and looking after the boys and a large house and yard. The twins attend school, grade 2 and the 4 year old is just starting Kindergarten. They stay with their dad on the weekends who lives close by. I am looking to free up some of my time to attend to some larger maintenance/renovation jobs I would like to attend to on our house/property. My Mum and her husband also live on our land in a completely separate granny flat and are fully self contained away from the main house. She often pops in for coffee or I walk through the back yard to her place. Mum and her husband assist me with a lot around the house at the moment but are both getting older and as they are retired travel away a lot leaving me to do more around the house and less with the kids. We have chickens (yummy fresh eggs), a goat in the back paddock, a large very friendly outside dog (black Labrador x) and a new puppy who is a little inside Cavoodle x Maltese Shitzu.
I am flexible with hours but ideally would like someone to help with the nightly dinner, bath, bed routine, meal planning/cooking and some cleaning/household duties Monday to Friday. I may require help on family outings/trips to the beach, shops, appointments etc. The twins are in grade 2 and ideally I would like someone who could provide some tutoring with basic spelling, writing and maths for them. Entertaining and supervising the 4 year old during the days he is home (3 days a week) so I can do house maintenance jobs. We welcome you to be part of our family but understand and appreciate at times you will require your own space and time. You would have your own room and ensuite which is separate from the rest of the sleeping areas and opens onto a lounge room with TV. The house has two sitting rooms for watching TV and a play/toy room with another TV the kids usually watch. I would be happy to help you organise any travel plans/trips within Australia and as we live near The Great Ocean Road with the famous Bells Beach and the Twelve Apostles would be happy to organise a family trip to show you these tourist destinations and can guarantee you will see Koalas and Kangaroos. I can pay on top of board and lodgings $100 a week. Thanks Carla
