We are an American-Catalan family of four seeking a loving and caring individual who can speak Catalan with our children or someone who shares the same religion as us, the Bahá'í Faith, which can be taught to our children while we are away from the home. Ideally this person would have a background in early childhood education, in philosophies such as Waldorf-Steiner or Maria Montessori.
We have two boys, a one year old and a three year old. We would like that the children follow a daily schedule/routine that is play-based but also educational. Outdoor play is important for us. Some times the au pair might have to take the kids to a lesson or class. This position will require some housework. We will consult about the exact hours, extent of housework and complete scope of position once we find a strong candidate.
