We are the Lowry family from Leeds. Conor is Irish and I am originally from South Africa but we have been living in the UK for about 12 years now. Conor is an engineer and I am a project manager. We have 2 lovely boys, Eamonn (4 in March) and Joshua (2 in April). Both boys get along with each other very well and are great fun. Their favourite activities include reading, going for walks/or park, playing with anything with wheels. We also have 2 miniature dachshunds (sausage dogs) who are very loving and easy going. We are looking for an au pair who is friendly, caring and who will be playful with the boys. We would like someone who will be flexible and happy to fit in with our weekly routine. Weekends of course you are free to enjoy the local scenery and sights of beautiful Yorkshire. The boys both go to a local nursery 2 days a week although Eamonn will be starting school in September.
We expect the au pair to take care and entertain the boys during the week when we are at work and when they are not attending nursery. On occasion the au pair will also be required to drop off or collect the boys from nursery, but this will not always be the case. The nursery is within walking distance from the house (15minutes walk). We would like some help with light housework such as, emptying and filling of the dishwasher / washing machine, vacuum cleaning, tidying up toys and the boys' bedrooms.
