Au Pair Position $300 (30hrs/wk) Starting Early January, 6 month commitment Private studio apartment with beautiful view and respectful work conditions. We are looking for our next perfect au pair to join our family of four. We have enjoyed a wonderful year with our current au pair but unfortunately now have to seek a new family member. We have two delightful girls 6yr and 1yr who attend school and day care everyday. You will have ~25 scheduled hours a week with a pretty set schedule of 7-9am and 3-6pm, morning drop-offs at school, afternoon pickups and light household duties (we have a cleaner). There are occasional late nights and prearranged babysitting. You will have a completely private studio apartment (separate entrance, bathroom and kitchen) to live in and access to a car on weekends if you can drive (not a necessity for drop-offs and pick ups). Our location is Bexley, NSW (please google map) which is not the typical "Bondi Beach" location, but also not rural. You will have much better accommodation then almost all other au pair positions and it suits a mature au pair. It is also a short train ride into the city, to Uni, and a 5 min drive to the beach. We both work full time and require occasional flexibility in scheduling but have work very well with our current au pair to fit both schedules. Our girls: Energetic, loves scootering, play parks, hunting for fairy treasure, arts and crafts, libraries and reading, writing stories, Doctor Who Villains and trips in the pram.
Work conditions: Will have most weekends off, with occasional prearranged hours when one of us is away or for babysitting. House duties mainly involve laundry. Internet access, bike and car usage, beautiful views and privacy. You: Can commit through June, ideally with the possibility of extension. References and a CV, WWCC, first aid, minor cooking abilities for kids only, able to do laundry, open and direct communicator.
