Hi there, We are looking for a bright, happy, child friendly au pair to join our family for 9-12 months. We have had quite a few au pairs before so our children are used to having someone look after them. They love someone who is interested in playing board games, card games, reading, having fun, laughing and playing outside. My name is Joann and I am 34, my husband is Jules, 44 and we have 2 boys; Jasper 7, Rupert 6. We also have a small dog called Stimpy who is 3. We live in a village with about 4000 people about 10 miles north of York in the north of England. We have shops and pubs in the village and it is a 30 minute bus ride into York. From there, there are good travel connections to the rest of the country. There aren't any other au pairs in the village but there are in the surrounding areas, there are facebook groups that you can join to meet people, we have helped all our au pairs this way.
We would be looking for someone to take the children to and from school every day. The school is a 5 minute walk from our house. From 9am-3.10pm you will be free every day until you need to collect the children from school. You would need to play with them and give them dinner and look after them until we get home at 6pm. We may ask you to babysit once or twice a week and sometimes on a weekend. The weekend will be free time unless agreed otherwise. We would like you to wash up every day and also do some light cleaning once a week. We would also ask that you walk the dog every day. We are really flexible and easy going and looking for someone to join the family. we look forward to meeting you!
