We are a friendly family of 4. Dad is Eric, 44 and he is traveling back and forth between London and shanghai, so he is not around most of the day Mum is Carol, 44, enjoys travel and exercise. She works for Shell in marketing and travels quite a bit for business. When she is in London, she leaves early and comes home around 6:30pm Fei Fei is almost 11 and is in his first year of middle school…he is a typical boy, playful and loves computer games. And he enjoy talking and playing with his friends, and reading. Grand mum also stays with us and she is 70 years old, very healthy and helps a lot in the house… she does not speak English and is reading her ipad most of the time
Well flexibility is the key here. We can sit down together every Sunday together and look ahead to rest of week. A typical week might look like: - Monday-Fri – an hour of your time in the morning to prepare breakfast for Feifei before his school and walk him to school (his school starts some days from 8am and some days from 8:20am). Pick him up (some days at 3:30pm and some days at 4:30pm, depends on whether he has after school activities). Help him a bit for home work as needed (most of the time he can finish homework by himself). Will be great if u can find some interesting activities to engage him (if possible). Also help prepare dinner, do some house cleaning and laundry. Finish up about 6:30-7pm. So total around 4.5-5 hours per day Overall about 25 - 30 hours in a week Generally, I would say it’s up to you if you eat with us or the kids or by yourself and it can change as you see fit. We will take off 1-2 weeks at Christmas and 1-2 weeks during summer holiday. You are welcome to stay with us or take that time as holiday.
