I am a mother of 1 currently pregnant with my second child. I am looking for an au pair so that I can have help at home while taking care of my newborn. I am fluent in English, Malay and French and would like my child to pick up the Malay and French languages. The following are my preferences in an au pair: First choice: Malaysian - Bilingual, speaks English and Malay. Single. Has experience in childcare or child education. Second choice: French - Bilingual, speak English and French. Single. Has experience in childcare or child education. Third choice: British - Fluent in English. Single. Has experience in childcare or child education.
The au pair will be expected to do the following: 1. Taking care of a toddler (1 year and 8 months old) and take the child out to the playground and attend music classes. The au pair will also be expected to carry out duties at home such as bathing/ changing the child, potty training, feeding the child and occasionally preparing meals and snacks for the child. 2. Occasionally take care of a newborn at the same time when the mother has to run errands outside or when the mother is looking for . 3. Au pair will be provided with her own room and may have to share a room when family (sister or grandmother) are staying over. 4. Help out with some house chores (this will be shared between the mother and au pair): cleaning the bathroom (there is only 1 bathroom in the apartment), vacuuming the apartment, washing dishes, doing the laundry. 5. Join family holidays if required.
