We are a busy, friendly family with three girls (10yrs, 7yrs and 4ys). We live in Farnham in a large detached house with a big garden. We are a few minutes drive from Farnham centre and train station (50mins into London). We have one dog that is very friendly.
We need a flexible and caring aupair from January 2017 It is essential that you can drive and have a clean license. We can provide a car for sole use and insurance. You need to be a tidy and organized person with plenty of initiative. There will be many moments when colouring in, dressing up, looking for fairies in the garden and dancing to Abba songs will come in useful. You will have your own excellent furnished accommodation that is separate and twenty meters from the main house. It is a heated 1st floor annex above a garage. This consists of a newly decorated and furnished double bedroom, living room with freeveiew tv & DVD, bathroom a fully fitted kitchen and utility room with washing machine and dryer. This will give you independent living. It will be up to you to provide most of you own meals in the annex but we are very happy for you to snack and eat with girls when in the main house. The hours will be in the region of 25/30 per week plus one or two nights a week babysitting. Duties will mainly be on weekdays (Mon-Fri). On most weekday mornings we would like some help from 7.15am with breakfast & getting our girls ready for school. Once or twice a week we will need you to drive the girls to school which is 5 mins away. In the day we would like some housekeeping help - including laundry, ironing, hoovering, dusting & mopping. On week days you will also be needed from 4-7pm to assist with school pick ups, children’s supper, tidying up and bath time. You will have free time during the day and at weekends so it is possible this position could fit in with other part time work or study. In the school holidays we may ask more of you in regards to looking after the girls. There maybe weekends when we will ask you to look after the girls while we go away. We may also need help on family trips and holidays. We will always give you advanced warning of these times and if working a weekend you will of course get extra week time off. We are asking for a commitment of a year if possible. We have great fun in our house so if you are a smiley happy person you should fit right in! If you are interested in the job you need to be: * well organized, responsible and trustworthy * happy to have full CRB checks * a non-smoker * able to drive with a full clean licence. * 20yrs or older * good spoken English is essential * be dog friendly * have experience with young children * happy to help with household cleaning duties. * have at least 2 checkable references. * available for interview
