I'm a single mum to two boys, 2 and 4 years. I would describe myself as sporty, disciplined but with an outgoing personality. I speak my mind and I'm very approachable. I believe being open and honest makes for the best relationships. If you're not happy, my children aren't going to be happy :) Ethan is 4 years old and will be starting full time school this September 2016. He is also a very fussy eater so patience and ability to encourage a must. Arnie is a very happy child and will eat anything. He loves cuddles, animals and his brother Ethan. They are both very affectionate children who enjoy kisses and cuddles so my au pair must feel comfortable with being tactile. We have a cat called Shiva, she is very affectionate and enjoys bringing home presents. Our Au Pair must be outspoken, fun, animated, motivated, honest and confident. Must be confident with using the English language both in home and outside. RENUMERATION (Best to know what's on offer in advance) Pocket money £100 per week. The Au Pair will pay their own travel expense inbound and I will pay both the inbound flight and return upon contract completion. Looking for at least 6 months to 24 months. 4 weeks off paid at half rate to be arranged if at least 12 months is contracted.
You will be working 5 days a week, with weekends and evenings off. If I require you to look after the kids in the evenings or weekends, I will discuss it with you in advance. My job may entail me going away for a few weeks through the year so you must be comfortable and confident with having the children on your own while I am out of town. Of course your wage will reflect this extra burden. I leave the home around 820am and you must be up and ready to engage with the children. You will take my oldest son to school at 9am and pick him up at 320pm. My youngest son will start pre-school in January 2017 so you will require to take him to the school at 1215pm and pick him up at 315pm. I would enjoy it if you are a person who enjoys being active with the kids, coloring in, going for walks, playing outside, reading stories. Ethan will take lunch at school but you must give my youngest child lunch around 1230pm. Dinner is around 5pm or 6pm. I am usually home by 530pm. You will be contracted to babysit one evening per week although this is rare. You may be asked to do a few light house work duties like hoovering and tidying the children's room. My Au Pair must be able to immediately take on the culture differences with ease and use initiative to make your own plans, children’s activities, cook food for yourself and the children as well as integrate yourself socially to make new friends.
