Looking for an Aupair in Paris starting in September or October 2017 After spending 4 years in London where the kids attended an english school, we came back to Paris last summer. Ines (8) is in Primary school and Ethan (11) will be in secondary school. They are both bilingual (French / English). We live in a large flat in the 9th arrondissement close to Opera and the Department stores. For the upcoming school year (Sept 2017 - July 2018), we're looking for a native english-speaking au pair to look after the kids but - most importantly - help them keep up with their English. The Au pair will have her own separate and independent studio appartement situated the 8th Arrondissement (about 15 mn walking distance from our place). The children are very lively: Ines loves to draw, make crafts and play cards/games. Ethan loves to do sports outdoor, read and also play cards/games.
The Au pair's job will be: - School drop off in the morning. The Au pair should arrive around 7:30-7:45am, get the kids (mostly Ines) ready (washing, dressing up, breakfast, school bag...) and drop them off at 9am. - School Pick up at 4pm (unless clubs) - Give them a snack - Help them with homework - Prepare dinner (for whole family) for 7:30 pm. We usually are back from work around that time to have dinner all together. We're happy for the Au pair to have dinner with us, or independently as you prefer. - some housekeeping (cleaning, ironing..) would be a plus but is not required. - occasionally there will be some evening babysitting. My mum also live nearby and will often handle the kids on Weds afternoons.
