We are a small family consisting of me (Kate), my husband Rory and our nearly two year old daughter, Pippa. We love meeting new people and having a laugh. We have had 3 au pairs up until now and are fully aware of the process. We pride ourselves on being down-to-earth and approachable. We consider our au pairs to be a member of our family and we support and appreciate their time with us.
**AU PAIR NEEDED - END OF MAY - YOUNG FAMILY - 1 CHILD** We are living in the suburbs of a country city in NSW called Wagga Wagga. Our family consists of me (Kate), my husband Rory, and our toddler daughter, Pippa. We are easy going and have had three au pairs already. Our jobs keep us busy although as soon as we arrive home we spend time with Pippa and relieve the au pair, allowing them to do as they please. We don't require any weekend work. We currently have Pippa in childcare for 2 days a week to build her social skills. This would mean the au pair would work Mon/Thurs/Fri with every alternate Monday off due to my husband having this day off work. There is a possibilty of finding other work or another family for those two permanent days off when she attends daycare (Tues/Wed). Our current au pair has had no problem getting other work on those days for extra money. Work hours for our family would be 7.30am until 4.30pm. We provide a car for personal use but do not ask the au pair to drive with Pippa. For outings the local bus stops right outside our house. Having already had 3 au pairs we are familiar with the process and supportive of au pairs travelling away from their families to experience Australia and work with children. We consider our au pair to be a member of our family. Light household chores are expected, and appreciated, but nothing too demanding. We are happy for the applicant to chat with our current au pair about the position too.
