We are trying to find an Au-Pair, starting Mid-April / early May 2016. We are a family of five: Erik (33 years) and Hannah (31 years) and our kids Sophia (9), Jasper (7) and Milla (5). They are lively, independent children who need somebody to turn to occasionally, rather than a full-time babysitter. We live in wonderful, exciting Berlin and love spending our time outdoors. We hope to find somebody: - who enjoys being around children - who is reliable and responsible - who is at least 18 years of age and lives within the EU (relevant for Visa purposes) - who is fluent in English, speaks basic German and wants to learn some more - who doesn’t mind folding the laundry and emptying the dish washer - who would like to live with us for at least 9 months
What we expect you to do: - look after the kids after school on work days (from 2 p.m. onwards) and pick up the youngest from Kindergarten (walking distance, around 4 p.m.) - prepare snacks and occasionally bring them to bed - help them with their homework, make sure they do what they have to do, play, tinker, go out with them - help looking after them on a few week-ends per year or when they are sick - do some basic housework (see above, we have a cleaning lady for all the other housework)
