Hi. Our family consist of mom and dad, mom,s from Beijing China but have now lived in first Sweden now Denmark for the last 11 years. Dad is American/German but lived iDenmark, China, Sweden and Italy since the age of 14. Our 2 boys, aged 3 and 8 – the oldes rather introvert, the youngest not ! . We also have a very friendly and calm indoor cat. We live in a small village in a scenic area ( Randbøldal – called the only mountain village in Denmark !!) of little flat Denmark with hilly landscapes shaped by the last ice age. Nearest town is Billund, some 10 minutes away, the home town of LEGO. Our kids speak Danish, English and Chinese, and the oldest is attending international school in Billund ( owned and operated by the LEGO foundation. ) We love nature, but have extremely busy lives. Mom commutes by plane to work in Copenhagen 12 times a month, and dad works in a management position in a large global German company. We are looking for someone who can provide the extra pair of hands with child care, picking up from school, homework, light housework, and most important, do it in a responsible manner. Grannies sisters and brothers are all located in the US ( CA, FL & SC) and Beijing, China, and as such, daily life easily gets to stressed with no back-up. Our future as-pair should love nature, as we have a lot of it around us, ( valley in front of the house, forest behind) and though Billund provide a large international community due to the LEGO head office, 10 min away where we live in a small village with Aprox 600 souls, can at times feel slightly off the beaten track.
Pick-up the kids, help keep the kids room accessible, homework for the oldest, light house work.
