My family consists of myself, my partner and our 3 loud, fun boys who are 5, 3 and 1. We also have a large super friendly dog. We live in the middle of suburbia on a quiet street with bushland around us. Our home is small but just big enough for an extra adult. We have 4 bedrooms (one for you) and 2 bathrooms. Our open plan kitchen and lounge opens onto our small back yard. We have a small patio (perfect place for dinner) and the boys and I have vegetables growing in the yard. Our home is about 30minutes drive to the main city (Brisbane) and about 25minutes to Ipswich. We have buses and trains close by that will take you everywhere. We live pretty simply, my eldest attends school Monday to Friday. My partner drives a truck Monday to Friday (he is gone from 7am until 4-10pm). Weekends are always fun. We try to get out and explore as much as possible and would love to show you South East Queensland.
We expect our au pair to love kids. I will be attending University part time and will need help those days. Depending on my class times this could be walking my eldest to school (I am going to try to always drop him) and picking him up. The youngest two will need a fun caring adult during the day to play with. I will be preping their lunch boxes each day so cooking is minimal but the boys love to cook so you are more then welcome to cook. A small amount of house work is required. Mostly cleaning up any mess (toys/dishes) used with the children. We would also appreciate help with odd jobs like washing and sweeping/mopping. Your room will also be your responsibility. You will have your weekends completely free to explore South East Queensland. In short trip you can go to the beach, bush and rain forest. Or just chill out with us. Your nights will also be your own. We have 2 large cars that your welcome to drive around us needing them if you have an international or Australian drivers licence. Both are automatic.
