We are a family with 3 kids of 4(boy), 6(girl) and 9(boy). We also have a dog (Golden Retriever). Mother is not working but has plenty of activities outside home. We live in the center of Geneva (Old Town) during the week when children are at school, but spend our weekends and holidays either in the mountains in winter or in the countryside in summer. We are looking for a nice, sportive, and cheerful au pair who would be happy to travel with us sometime the weekends and holidays. We would give our preference to an au pair from an English speaking country who would accept to speak in English with the children.
DUTIES Take care of the children: help with daily activities like bringing them to sports, give bath, homework, reading, games...) Be proactive in developing the relationship with them and help develop their language skills. Share our daily life. In résumé, being like the oldest sister or cousin. Domestic help will be very light as we have a housekeeper, but when the children do not need attention, there is always a way to keep busy, and in such case help with, for example, tidying,or ironing or ordering their clothes.... If they have not yet been done, little domestic duties like making the bed, opening the curtains and windows, tidying the flat from the kids’ toys, shoes and clothes are an help expected from the au pair WORKING HOURS: 30h/week (schedule to be organized, but will include a presence during some weekends and some holidays) SARTING DATE: September 1st, for one year Salary: CHF900.- nett per month
