We are a Danish family living right in the heart of Nairobi (Kenya's capital). We live in a charming old wooden house together with our two small girls and two dogs. We love being outside in our big, wild garden spending time with our girls enjoying the sun and the birds singing. We are very creative and I am an artist and designer (33 years old) running my design company from the house and love seeing my children doing art projects and getting messy and wet! My husbands works late sometimes and I would love to have some help with the girls when I need to work or just company when we are out and about doing fun stuff with them! We can give you an interesting and different experience, seeing what Kenya is all about and enjoying the beautiful opportunities Nairobi has to offer. We are a busy, fun and creative family who would love to welcome you with open arms and have you in our house as our own daughter.
We are looking for a creative, open minded, trustworthy, fun and happy person, who will be honest and say things straight away if anything occurs. Someone who is a joy to be around and who does not mind getting down on the floor and having fun with the kids. Ideally, we would like you to stay between 12-24 months as I would not like my children to attach to someone who then leaves after a few months. We would need you to help with: The children Some cooking (mostly warming food and setting the table) Shopping Cleaning and other house hold stuff Sometimes we would like you to babysit the children in the evenings and help putting them to bed, but we can be flexible and discuss working hours once we connect.
