Hello and welcome to Sydney, Australia. We look forward to hearing from you. We have had a wonderful Aupairs from all over the world so we understand what it is like for you to come a long way from home. The right person will become part of our family too. As well as living in Sydney, we also have a farm about 60 minutes outside of Sydney in the Hunter Valley. The farm is beautiful and peaceful with lots of native wildlife and bush. So if you are looking for both the big city and country Australian experience with a single family - this is your opportunity. We hope that we become a part of your Australian Experience. We are looking for some one mature but fun. Also need to have a firm hand with teh boys. Other minimum requirements: - Experience in looking after or working with special needs children/adults - with preferably some training - Drivers licence is essential PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT CONSIDER OR REPLY TO MESSAGES FROM AUPAIRS FROM COUNTRIES THAT DO NOT HAVE WORKING HOLIDAY VISA ARRANGEMENTS WITH AUSTRALIA.
Our names are Ashlee and Jonas - Ash works as a sales manager for an IT company and Jonas is an environmental scientist and consultant. We are fairly easy going and relaxed and love a glass of wine, good food, good conversation and a laugh. We have two boys Jude aged 6 and Elliot aged 8. Elliot has mild autism - which for him means delayed language development and some minor behavioural issues. However he's pretty easy to look after, and like most boys his age he loves physical activity. So if you like running, swimming, wrestling etc Elliot is your man. Jude on the other hand loves playing games and doesn't stop talking! He is also like any boy - and into everything. Both children love being played with and read to. We have had some wonderful Aupairs in the past who have remained as close friends of our family long after they have returned home. We are very friendly and relaxed, just busy and need some help! There are also strategies and therapies around communications with Elliot that need to implemented.
