We are a young family with only one son but we are more looking forward to the cultural exchange of having an international au pair. We are looking for someone who is happy to share their culture with our young son and as we are quite sports mad, someone who also enjoys sports and being active. We have a dog, who is mostly an outdoor dog, so it would be nice to have someone who enjoyed animals. We also have quite a large extended family whom we spend a lot of time with so its important our au pair is relatively outgoing. In saying this, we would absolutely respect your need for your own space and hope to be able to guide you into exploring this country in a relaxed, comfortable way.
The main jobs would be helping with light house work, preparing dinner on the days that I work (I work three days a week) and a few hours babysitting every now and again. My son is in childcare on the days that I work so it would be mainly helping with the household chores but as we are a small family, this isn't very much.
