We are a busy english / irish couple living in rural france with 10 year old bilingual (french / english) son at local school. we run a horse stud and training farm about 5 mins walk from a village with grocery, bakery, pharmacy, doctor etc. We are looking for a hardworking person, who will help take care of our son, help with household chores and pets (cats and whippets in the house). Ideally they will like horses and be able to ride / help our son with his riding also. But this is not necessarily a prerequisite.
Help with son to include help with his studies in french and english, music (piano and guitar in the house if you are musical), horse-riding (hacks in countryside, around farm on quiet horses and ponies, help with horse rehoming charity if confident rider). Tennis court / basketball and bicycles at the house for sport enthusiasts. Help with household chores to include cooking, cleaning, laundry etc. Large comfortable room with shower, toilet, internet, desk and tv (house full of books to read too!). Must be bright, enthusiastic and optimistic with a mature attitude to the role. We are in a very rural area, village is close and nearest market town with library, cinema, supermarkets, train station etc. is 12 kms (Argentan) and 45 mins drive to Caen.
