We are a family with 4 children. One child is going to live at our farm with his dad this school year. The mother and the other children is living in another city. And we need a person that can take care of our son 1-3 days a week alone and live permanent with us for one school year August 2014 to June 2015. The dad is working in Kongsberg a town that is 1 hour drive from the farm. He has an apartment there and lives there when he has much to do at work. He will be home 1-2 afternoons during the week. The mother and other children will be home in the weekends. We are an active family who like to go hiking in the forest and mountains. We go cross-country and downhill in the winter. We have a snowmobile we use to drive to our cabin in the forest/mountains – 850 meters above the sea level. We like fishing on lakes and rivers, and canoeing on smaller lakes. If you like hunting or to learn to hunt you can do that with us in the autumn. We like to be with friends and family. You will be a member of our family and take part in all the activities we do if you want. We hope that you are in a good physical condition and like to be outside in the wilderness with us. The farm is cituated at the countryside with 260 inhabitants . Our community have a school, kindergarden and a foodstore. More shopping we can do in Kongsberg, Rjukan and Notodden, 45-60 minutes drive from the farm.
Your job will be to do the housework, cooking food, washing cloths, shopping groseries and look after our old cat who is the boss in our house. You have to look after our son so that he goes to school in the morning and make dinner for him when he comes back. He will be at school from 8 o’clock in the morning until 3.30 in the afternoon. You must sometimes drive him to activities and to friends in his sparetime. You will have free almost all weekends and every holiday (Christmas and Easter). If you want you can work on the farm with painting, forestwork etc. We don’t have animals at the farm only a cat and a huntingdog. We hope that you are a responsively woman around 23 years or older. If you have a child by your own around 8-12 years old we have an open mind that you can bring him/her with you. The child has to speak english and be a student at our school. We are looking for an openminded and positive person with a smiling face.
