Hello! We are Sonja, Domenico and Leonardo (6 years old), an Italian-German family who speaks English and we are living in London, opposite Hyde Park. We are looking for a responsible Aupair starting 1 September 2018 as our current Aupair had to leave. We are looking for an independent girl who likes sports (we live next to the park) and who would enjoy spending the afternoons with Leonardo. It would be nice if you could teach him something new in addition to doing the homework. Leonardo loves music; he is very intelligent and he grows up trilingual but mostly speaks in English because he attends an International, English speaking school. I (the mum) speak German with him, my husband speaks Italian with him. He understands all three languages very well. We are all fluent in English, I am a translator. Our Aupair should be an honest person who is interested in spending time with kids. If you are also interested in languages: you have found the right family.
Monday to Friday: Leonardo will go to school from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. He has to be brought to school in the morning and he has to be picked up in the afternoon. My husband And I are both working until around 6pm: that means your working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 am and from 3:30 until around 7pm. You would be in charge of having him tidy up his room and of keeping the living room free of toys. Once a week we would like you to 'babysit' Leonardo in the evening (while we go out) and we also would need you as babysitter for 2-3 hours at the weekend (although some weekends we won't need your help). The rest of the evenings and the rest of the weekend is free as well as the time Leonardo is spending at school. Leonardo likes to go to playgrounds and museums and he loves reading books, listening to music and watching documentary's on cruise ships and planes . We live just opposite Hyde Park in a quiet area in Westminster. We often go sightseeing and visit museums at the weekend: as part of the family you are always welcome to join us :) We would be grateful for somebody who is able to cook for Leonardo the 1 evening per week we are out and who helps us with light household chores (we have a cleaner that comes once a week). We would expect you to be able to clean up after yourself :).
