Hey there! We are a family of three: my kids Anneli (9) and Jakob (5) and me, Agnes (33). We live in Berlin in a part of the city that is just nice: not far away from the center, or from places that are fun to go, but also in a lovely neighborhood, where many of our friends live close by. Jakob goes to kindergarden every day, and Anneli goes to school. They are very sweet kids, REALLY! :-)), and they love to have people around. They understand English, and they can speak it, but most of the time they speak German. I understand a bit Spanish, too. We live in a pretty big flat and you´d get the prettiest room with the balcony, seriously, it´s spacious and nice. I think we are fun to be around: I love people with good sense of humor, but I also like to listen and talk. We LIKE to move: ride bikes (you´d have one of your own), roller-skates etc. We have two bunnies and 6 birds in the house, who need care and attention :-). We have a fantastic social web around us: my kids are often at friends´houses, my mother comes to help out, and the father of the kids - so there´s always help around, if needed. We´ve had many guest students at our house, so my kids are used to people coming here and staying with us. And we´ve had an au-pair from Sweden and one from the Netherlands which was awesome, cause it allowed me to work more and gain more freedom, and the kids really enjoyed it, too. Food-wise we eat everything, but can adjust to any kind of diet (lactose-free, vegetarian, etc.
We´d love to have YOU here: a friendly, charismatic person, someone who likes to laugh and joke around, but who can also take responsibility for certain chores, be on time, help out when it´s needed etc. I´d need you to pick up the kids from kindergarden and school twice a week, and to take them there once a week, every Thursday. That would be it, I think it is around 15 hours of work per week. The last Au-pairs that we had really liked this deal; it gave them more freedom and time to explore the city by themselves.
