I am a 36 years old separated mother whose only priority is my children. And I think openning their mind to a new language and a new culture is one of the best teachings I can give them. We live in terraced house in a tiny dormitory town at 10 minutes drive from Zaragoza with plenty of public transports. You will enjoy a bedroom for yourself with plenty of storage and a desk... but you will have to share the bathroom with the children. In our town we have a sport centre, a padel court, a community health centre and a municipal swimming pool during summer time. All of which is less than 5 minutes walk from the house. I can't forget our two super sweet cats that will always ask for your petting. My two 3 years old boys are very friendly, outgoing and active. They are very used to being with many different people and had attended nursery school since they were 1 y/o. Some of their favorite activities and games are: puzzles, painting their tummy, pretending to be Batman and Spiderman, swimming, visiting Natural History museums and jumping from almost any surface imaginable. They also loooove story time before bed. They try to demonstrate frequently that they aren't afraid of anything. With which I'm usually ok :).
I would love to find someone patient enough to deal with two children asking for the same thing at the same time, energetic to play superheroes for the entire afternoon, trustworthy, and with a healthy lifestyle. Besides, I will value working experience with young children. In the daily basics. I would need someone who helps me arriving in time to school every morning without getting stressed. After that, during working days, from about 8,30 until about 16,30 you have free time unless the children are ill. I only work 3 or 4 afternoons per month so I will always be around after school (although, I will need an hour or so to study. In any case, I will be in our home office). In the afternoons we will like to introduce English with you in our daily activities: playing in the park, going to the library, getting groceries, getting ready for bed... . Some of my workmates will be happy to also bring their children home and pay you extra for their English playing time. House work will be scheduled between you and me. I am not very picky but I do appreciate tidiness. I think that it's a great value to teach the children. We spend our weekends at home or visiting relatives and friends in nearby cities. You are always welcome to join us or you can plan your own activities. About your freetime and mine, I would appreciate a couple of evenings of babysitting per month to catch up with old friends. Once you know your daily schedule (lessons, hobbies, friends) here, I will be more than happy to arrange things in order to guarantee you a couple of afternoons and/or a entire day off per week. If you don't miss us to much LOL.
