Hello, we are an Australian family with a little Spanish too. We live in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, NSW - 5 minutes walk to the beach. We lead very busy lifestyles and are looking for an au pair to assist with our 3 beautiful children. Sophia 8, Luella 6 and Maximo 5. We are an outdoor family who loves all things water. Our children spend their summers sailing, father is a surfer / sailer and Mum is an avid runner. Sundays in summer are spent on the Harbour fishing on our boat or watching our daughter learn to sail. We have a little dog bailey. We are looking for someone who is happy go lucky, calm and of a sweet friendly nature who wants to be a friend and big sister to our kids. If you are wanting a great overseas experience and absolutely love children and are wanting to be a part of our crazy family well we would love to hear from you. We are looking for someone from March 2014 for up to 6 months or longer. Tara
Your primary duties will be the childrens needs. Getting them up, fed and dressed and to school on time. Picking them up in the afternoon from school and taking them to after school sport. Assisting with homework and generally making life fun for them. We would ask you take them to the park some afternoons with their dog, drawing, making crafts or just playing with them in the garden. I would be asking you to keep their rooms tidy and make their beds. I am asking for some light house keeping duties in the form of maybe hanging out the washing or folding the washing, washing some dishes, sweeping or vaccuming on occassion. In our family these chores are shared and its just a matter of pitching in and doing what you see as you would in your own home. I will be asking for one night of babysitting on occassion but will give you notice. You will have your days off to relax, go to the beach etc and weekends as well unless needed. You will need a drivers licence and we will provide a car for you to use within reason.
