Our family consist of myself (Katja) and my husband (Alec), Lena, Johan and our dog Boris. My husband is a professional sailor and away from home often in the summer and I am working monday to thursday. With my work I sometimes have to leave early and at times will not get back until a bit later in the evening so we are looking for someone to help with childcare while I am at work, nursery runs and just generally a helping hand. Our daughter Lena is 5 in July and is very fond of her little brother Johan who will be 3 in March. Lena likes being outside especially playing in sand or the garden, she has a contagious laugh and likes pink a lot. Johan is very easy going and keen to do anything his sister is doing. He loves playing in the playground or playing with trains and toys. As a family we are outgoing and easygoing. We like to be outside and do outdoor activities like cycling and walking (and sailing and skiing), but we and the children also enjoy many indoor activities such as drawing and cooking. We live in Lymington, which is a town by the sea in the New Forest in South West England. The New Forest have beautiful scenery and an amazing wildlife and whenever we take Boris for a walk, we tend to meet a horse, donkey or cow.
First and foremost we are looking for someone to fit in with our family and our life. A positive attitude and love of children and dogs is essential. We are looking for someone to help out with day to day living mainly on the 3-4 days of the week that I am working. So helping in the morning, getting to nursery and looking after the children as well as going to various activities followed by dinner and bathtime in the evening. On the days where I am not working I will need a lot less help and it might only be the occasional helping hand.
