I am looking for someone to live with my Mother. She is 82 and in fairly good health except back trouble. She is afraid to be alone at night, but rarely really needs help. She has a nice house on about 3 acres between Union and Washington, Missouri. Her deceased husband was US Air Force for 30 years, living in Europe and around the US. She drives and is active, but doesn't want to be alone at night. She had a bad bout with illness last winter, but is now doing really well except back pain. She is an artist and Civil War buff, loves to watch football and baseball, dogs and horses. She needs a roommate more than a caregiver at this point - someone who will be around regularly and able to act if an emergency comes up - like make phone calls to nearby family or doctor or help her get up.
Be available if Mom need help - nights especially. Help with minor housework and cooking. Drive if necessary, to Doctor or Shopping. There would be a lot of freedom to have friends and activities.
